One thing which lacks is the presence of a contact book. Another brilliant feature of OpusDomini is the inbuilt weather tracker that tell you about the outside weather condition so that you can plan accordingly and take prior preparations for that and if the level of importance is not so high, then you may call it an off. The developer can't seem to have anything but problems with OpusDomini. For over a year it has had nothing but glitches almost every time I open it. It doesn't work and they are charging a hefty price for the trouble and are keeping the money. I spent an entire morning working with it. I tried deleting and reinstalling the apps numerous times. That ain't gonna happen !!! I had tried everything they recommended in all of their documentation. I emailed the developer that I wanted a refund. Once I installed all of the apps I could not synch the devises on a regular and reliable basis. I did this in spite of all of the warnings listed in the reviews about all of the synching problems. I wanted to be able to synch all of the devices. I spent $17 getting the apps for Mac, iPhone, iPad. I used the Lite version for 4 months and liked it except for its limited entry restrictions. You will be wasting your money if you purchase this. I am a computer tech and minister as well and have been showing this and demoing this to just about everyone I know. I have already sold 6 people on OpusDomini for you. I have tired many and paid much more then the current price and OpusDomini kicks all of their butts. I know iCloud is coming very soon but OpusDomini is awesome and well worth it and can't beat the price. But I know projects has been requested and I hope contacts will be also. The only reason this does not get a 5 is that contacts and projects are not in this. I wanted an app that did tasks, appointments, projects and contacts in one app. I have been a Daytimer/Franklin Covey user for years. I have been waiting for OpusDomini since iPad came out. But wish they would work like they used to.

I use the task and planning and notes in my iPad only. My work around is to sync with iPhone and iPad calendars. I still use it but like they have said it no longer syncs. It is now so outdated that Apple is telling me it will slow my device down because it's so old.

Save your money, you'll just regret spending it. Unfortunately I have to recommend you stay away from OpusDomini. It's just a shame because the parts are all there, I just don't think this company has the programming chops to make it work. If you can't even put the effort to make token improvements, you should just pull OpusDomini. Worst of all is that it hasn't been updated in over a year. It's look is very much dated and a prime illustration of bad skueomorphism. When I get it to work I'm not always sure how I did it. But there have been bugs from the get go that have yet to be squashed. The syncing was always an issue, but not a major one.

That's fine for a free app or maybe even a 99 cent one, but for the money I paid I definitely feel ripped off. Unfortunately the company seems unwilling or unable to put the time into making OpusDomini work. In theory, this is the perfect embodiment of the Covey organizational system.

I bought the iPhone, iPad, and Mac versions.

Overall I think OpusDomini has kept me better organized then Franklin ever did plus I am glad to be happy with something digital rather then stuck on paper. There are a few issues with Opus that I wish were better: the compass feature and goal planning leave much to be desired, and for some reason I am unable to import or even manually add contacts, but this is easy to compensate for with standard iPad and iPhone apps. Ironically Franklin has come to disappoint me in recent years with their limited selection compared to 10 years ago and now that I am hooked on Opus there is no way I would go back to a Franklin. I have been proven wrong and have continued to use OpusDomini for almost an entire year - I have never before actually relied and continually used an online planner before, I have always return it to pen and paper and Franklin.

I initially downloaded the free version, was pleasantly surprised, and after a couple weeks of research and continued use I went for it and bought the full version, fully expecting to regret it and consider it a waste of money. I am also a long time Franklin addict, and had never been even remotely satisfied with any planner app.
